Alma Jenkins

Instructor

Hello my name is Mrs. Alma Jenkins. I graduated from Opelousas School of Cosmetology in 1999 and received my Cosmetologist license. I went back to school and received  my Cosmetology Instructor license in 2000. I taught  my 1st year at Opelousas School of Cosmetology in 2000 and have been teaching every since I fill the position. I have been a licensed Cosmetology Instructor for over 21yrs and also obtained my Master Cosmetology Instructor seal for continue education of 16 hrs every year. As a Cosmetology Instructor I love to lead my students by example with good  leadership skills.  I teach students the basics of Cosmetology and lead the class through the required course work professionally. I am a highly motivated, inspiring, energetic and fun person to be around. I love the beauty industry and I have a passion to see students achieve their goals and become the best hairstylists they can be. My greatest reward is to see students mastering all the skills to become better in the Cosmetology Industry.
